Edward Roberts (1829-1906) married Betsey Howard(May 16, 1832-March 11, 1864) and after her passing married her sister Martha Howard (June 10, 1834-June 16, 1875). All are buried in Dover center Cemetery.
Edward Roberts is son of John and Martha (Williams) Roberts of Wales. They came to america in 1838.
Two children were born of the union of Edward and Betsey(Howard) Roberts: Almon J. who married Eliza McKnight and Betsey who married Willard Bristol.
Almon(named for his grandfather, Almon Howard) J. Roberts(1861-1937) and his wife Eliza A. (McKnight) Roberts (1858-1943) also buried in Dover Center Cemetery.
Three children were born of the union of Edward and Martha (Howard), sister of Betsey: Peter, Martha, and Earl. |
